Bio
Paul Tingley is a Canadian Paralympic sailor, particularly of keelboats. He is a resident of Halifax Regional Municipality who became disabled due to a skiing accident at 24. He became interested in sailing due to the suggestion of a physiotherapist. He shared a bronze medal for Sailing at the 2000 Summer Paralympics as a part of the Canadian Sonar team, participated in the 2004 Games, and won a gold medal for Sailing at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in a one-person keelboat.
