Swiss Timing will be the official supplier of the entire Race Management System at the 2012 Delta Lloyd Regatta. This system has been tested at the World Championship Sailing at Perth last year and will make its debut in the ISAF World Cup at Medemblik this year.
The Organizing Committee of the Delta Lloyd Regatta is proud to team up with such a prestigious partner like Swiss Timing. Last year’s edition of the Delta Lloyd Regatta you could follow the Medal Races via live Tracking & Tracing. This year you have the opportunity to follow all races live through live 2D and 3D GPS Tracking & Tracing. These live streams will be available at www.deltalloydregatta.org during the entire event.
In addition to this live Tracking & Tracing system, all boats, ships and objects like buoys, jury and rescue boats will have a GPS transmitter. This creates a local network of each race track on its own. Wireless Internet throughout the entire Delta Lloyd Regatta, including all starting ships, makes it possible to communicate more direct. The starting ships can now communicate directly with the race management center. The Organizing Committee is glad to facilitate a stable internet connection on all starting ships at the Delta Lloyd Regatta 2012.
