This year the Delta Lloyd Regatta will be held over five days instead of six days. All Medal Races will be held on Saturday the 26th of May. In addition to this final day of sailing at the Delta Lloyd Regatta, there will be a spectacular closing ceremony at the Regatta Center.
This closing ceremony will be organized exclusively for the Delta Lloyd Regatta sailors, Delta Lloyd relations, the Delta Lloyd Regatta volunteers and the Medemblik citizens. Over 2000 visitors are expected.
This unique music special is all about saying goodbye to the Dutch Olympic sailors of the Delta Lloyd Kernploeg. With this closing ceremony we send the Delta Lloyd Kernploeg off to a great start at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The Organizing Committee of the Delta Lloyd Regatta wishes them the best of luck
