Despite the slow start and shifty conditions, racing on the second day of the Delta Lloyd Regatta is on schedule. According to Principal Race Officer Marinus Blickman, there is a steady 8 knots southwestern breeze, but shifting between 160 and 200 degrees. “As we speak, the Finn class starts and the 470 women will follow soon. The 49er is about to leave the beach and the 2.4mR will have its first starting signal at 5 pm.”
