The quarter finals of the women match racing are about to start. The first to win three points qualifies for the semi finals. The Russian Team Skudina won the sail off and therefore finished second in the repechage, which allowed them the second ticket for the quarter finals. The teams Wang (CHN) and Rocca (ESP) re-sailed a match for the seeding this morning, won by Wang.
The pairing for the quarter finals will be as followed:
- Skudina–RUS versus Tunnicliffe–USA
- Abrahamsen–DEN verus Lethinen–FIN
- Roca-ESP versus Wang-CHN
- Groenevld-NED versus Echegoyen-ESP
Schedule
The silver group won’t race anymore, so their Delta Lloyd Regatta 2011 has come to an end. The schedule for today includes the quarter and semi finals and the Sail Offs for place 5 till 8. In addition, the first flight of the finals will also be sailed if the weather and time allow that.
