Taehoon Lee from Korea won the gold medal in the RS:X Class today. The victory was not realy a suprise as he had a 19 point gap between him and his closed rival, the Canadian Surfer Zachary Plavsic. With three victories in the series Lee secured an almost certain victory in the medalrace. Only a last place in the medalrace could keep him from winning the Delta Lloyd Regatta.
In the very difficult medalrace he proved to be realy the best surfer of the Regatta by beating all his opponents. Lee seemed happy, saying that it was a very good week for him.
