The race was very exiting. Dutch sailor Pieter-Jan Postma finished second and blocked the way to the gold medal for Gaspic. In the end Wright finishes first and takes the gold. Gaspic was clearly upset about the fact he lost. His fists came down on the boat several times.
Wrights recipe for winning is due to his meal this morning: “I won because of my big English breakfast with white beans, bacon and scrambled eggs.”
