On May 29th, from 5.15 PM, 6.15 PM 7.15 PM and after midnight, RTV N-H will broadcast a 40 minute lasting program of the Delta Lloyd Regatta. The program will be presented by Marcelien de Koning together with Klaas-Jan Bos. Marcelien is born in Hoorn and is a multiple Olympic Champion. For years she formed a successful duo with Lobke Berkhout. Together with her she won a silver medal at the Olympics and won the World Cup three times. In 2005 the two ladies were elected sports team of the year in the Netherlands. Commentator of the program will be Jur Raatjes.
The Delta Lloyd Regatta is a key measure point for all Olympic sailors towards London 2012. That is why special attention in this program will be given to Lobke Berkhout and her partner Lisa Westerhof, who just recovered from Pfeiffer. Sven en Kalle Coster, participating in 470 class, will also play an important role, as well as RS:X surfer Dorian van Rijsselberghe. Dorian wants to follow in Stephan van den Berg’s footsteps, the Dutch surfer that won gold at the Los Angeles summer Olympics of 1984.
