Medemblik Nautiek stimulates sailing at primary schools within the region of Medemblik.
The biggest sailing event of the Netherlands, the Delta Lloyd Regatta, will take over the city of Medemblik. In tradition to the Delta Lloyd Regatta, Medemblik Nautiek will be organized to create a buzz in the city itself. Medemblik Nautiek is all about Youth & Talent.
The entire week during the Delta Lloyd Regatta will be used to introduce sailing to all primary schools in Medemblik. Children will attend sail clinics organized by the City of Medemblik and the Organizing Committee of the Delta Lloyd Regatta. These sailing clinics will be executed by the Central Institute of Sports Instructors from Heerenveen.
On the Saturday, citizens of Medemblik have the opportunity to travel with tour boat De Fortuna between the Regatta Center and East Harbour where al Medemblik Nautiek activities take place. A sailing simulator on shore and the popular Aqua Bubbles make Medemblik Nautiek refreshed.
