Early entry fee postponed

The early entry fee is now available until the 11th of May. The decision to postpone the early entry fee has several reasons. Firstly with the change of opening the 49erFX to all genders we want the sailors to have extra time to benefit from the early entry fee. Hereby we can provide these sailors with the same service as the other classes. Secondly the ISAF invited top sailors to join the competition at Medemblik. The Delta Lloyd Regatta has decided, together with the ISAF and the international 49er class, to open the 49erFX class to all genders. It is now possible to mix teams female / male or subscribe in the class with men teams as well. The women’s only teams are still in the race for the ISAF ranking and qualification for sailing the World Cup in Weymouth. The 49er class is an upcoming class. ISC Medemblik official ISAF training location

The ISAF (International Sailing Federation) appointed the venue of the Delta Lloyd Regatta, ISC Medemblik (International Sailing Center Medemblik), as official training location. Sailors can now prepare at Medemblik in advance of the RIO Olympic Games 2016.  With this decision the ISAF now has two official training locations around the world. “For the Delta Lloyd Regatta organization it’s a confirmation of the development of our location and associated facilities,” says Arjen Rahusen; chairman of the Organizing Committee.
