Sailors are able to register for the 33rd edition of the Delta Lloyd Regatta which takes place from 23 – 27 May 2017 in Medemblik, the Netherlands. Olympic sailing All Olympic classes are invited to the 2017 Delta Lloyd Regatta. Diego Botin and Iago Lopez Marra secure gold and 49er ticket to Rio

Diego Botin/Iago Lopez Marra (ESP) had already secured the gold medal, but a second place in the medal race extended their lead to 28 points to have totally dominated the fleet this week. For them the Delta Lloyd Regatta win is only part of the story as the event was the Spanish Olympic selection event, and with the win here they win their ticket to Rio. The 32nd edition of the Delta Lloyd Regatta is just around the corner and we are making the final preparations before we head to Medemblik. Update: Finn class

The Finn class is cancelled during the Delta Lloyd Regatta 2016. We needed to make this decision due to too less registrations (as stated in the notice of race). Only 7 Finn sailors were registered. Change of concept We’ve changed the format of the Finn class to make it more attractive to a wider audience. The format was changed to three race days with nine races in total.
